Farmers markets, farm shops and local food
There are regular farmers markets and excellent farm shops in the area.  These often stock many more unusual varieties of produce than you would find in your local supermarket.  There is a wide choice of locally produced food in the quality delicatessens at Barton Marina, Byrkley Garden Centre, Breadfirst at the Ferrers Centre.
