Located within Spring Wood in the National Forest, near to Staunton Harold Reservoir, is Woodland Survival Crafts, bushcraft and survival specialists. At this site, you can learn from a range of bushcraft survival courses designed to educate, challenge and inspire. Woodland Survival Crafts was established in 1995 by Dave Watson, following a 10-year career in outdoor activity centres. Woodland Survival Crafts takes the approach that in wild environments it is vital to harness natural resources and work with them, rather than against them. Courses include professional outdoor training courses, specialist bushcraft courses, leadership development and team building, and outdoor learning for schools.
